Most photographers come to real estate through art school or a love of architecture. I came through a decade of corporate operations management.
Before RealtyPix existed, I spent ten years working my way from dispatcher to Regional Operations Manager — learning how to manage logistics, communication, deadlines, and the kind of accountability that most creative businesses never develop. When the company eliminated all remote positions and I found myself at a crossroads, I didn't look for another corporate job. I went all in on something I'd been building on the side for years.
That decision turned out to be the right one.
I've had a camera in my hand for nearly twenty years. Over that time I've shot magazine spreads, product campaigns, commercial spaces, nonprofit documentaries, and more listings than I can count across Southeast Michigan and Northern Ohio. Through my parent company Brigid Media Group I operate several media brands spanning real estate, video production, 3D content, and product reviews. Photography and media isn't a side hustle — it's the whole operation.
RealtyPix specifically exists to serve real estate agents, brokers, property managers, and developers who need professional media that's delivered on time, every time. The operations background matters here more than most people realize. I run shoots the way a business runs — with systems, communication, and reliability built in. You'll get a confirmation, you'll get your photos the next business day, and you won't have to chase me down for either.
I'm based in the Downriver area and work throughout Metro Detroit, Oakland County, Washtenaw County, and Northern Ohio. I'm also a full-time dad — which is part of why building something I fully own and control has always mattered more to me than a steady paycheck from someone else.
